Last week, the Z-MED team received good news from Zahir Vallie, the CEO of the Z-Group, that they will expand their fleet by adding another ambulance to their paramedic convoy.
This decision was made due to the high demand for Z-MED’s services that surpassed their supply. A few weeks ago, Z-MED’s services were requested even though their two ambulances were already out on a call, causing tension among the paramedic teams as they rushed to respond to the emergency. Fortunately, they were able to respond in time and received appreciation from the family that was in need of emergency services.
To ensure adequate resources and support for the community, Vallie took the initiative to add another ambulance. This decision was made with the consideration that emergency services may be requested when the other two ambulances are already out on a call, as happened a few weeks ago. Z-MED’s popularity and attraction have led to an increased usage of its services.
One of the paramedic teams expressed their joy and relief at having another ambulance and paramedic team on board, as it will alleviate the stress of consecutive emergency call-outs.
