Z-MED RESPONDS TO EMERGENCY CALL IN OTTERY

The annual Two Oceans Marathon is scheduled for Saturday, 15th April 2023, and Sunday, 16th April 2023, and Z-MED has been chosen as one of the emergency response teams to provide medical assistance during the event.
On Saturday, Z-MED will be managing two medical points along the 56KM ultra-marathon route, as the longer distance requires additional medical stations to ensure adequate assistance. On Sunday, Z-MED will be responsible for one medical point along the 21KM half-marathon route, as the assistance needed is expected to be lower compared to Saturday. Although there will be multiple medical response teams present, Z-MED is honored to be part of this significant event and work alongside other response teams.
The Z-MED team takes pride in serving the community, and one of the paramedics expressed excitement for the upcoming weekend, saying, “We are very excited. This is one of our bigger events, so we know that we will need to be on our A-game this weekend.”
Zahir Vallie’s Z-MED has been making strides in Cape Town, recently expanding its fleet with another ambulance. The team’s opportunities are growing, and its reputation is gaining recognition in the field of emergency medical response.
