Z MED was established in June 2019 by Zahir Vallie when a neighbour suffered a heart attack and waited for more than 4 hours for emergency support. To save lives and drastically reduce the emergency response time in multiple Cape Town regions, the real estate entrepreneur poured in resources and brought together the local community to launch Z MED. ZMED approached Department of Health in July 2019 to register as an ambulance service and responded to its first call in February 2020. Zahir Vallie also founded ZPROP to help South Africans make smarter real estate choices.

- Retrospective clinical governance and clinical review of Z MED to ensure compliance with our documented EMS protocols and legal requirements.
